Duties

  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding tax preparation and documentation requirements.
  • Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Support tax professionals with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Proofread tax documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Utilize computer software to input data, manage client information, and generate reports as needed.

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to tax regulations. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while providing valuable insights into our financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and streamline tax preparation processes.
  • Apply GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports as required by governing bodies.

Our Physical Therapy client in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a back office staff candidate with the following experience: 

* Competent with verifying insurance

* Medical Insurance Coding

* Someone who is knowledgeable enough to explain the difference between a copay and deductible to patients

* Understands the insurance authorization process

* Experienced using EMR

* Prior working knowledge of which websites are needed for verifying each type of insurance.

Physical Therapist

Sanford, NC

Responsible for outpatient and inpatient evaluations, assessments, plans of care and ongoing physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administer treatment plan of care in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  The therapist must document, in a timely manner, all patient related information and ensure that patients are charged correctly per departmental and insurance carrier guidelines. The staff therapist participates in departmental operational activities such as the budget, clinical quality, clinical education, infection control, departmental safety and team building programs. This position will be 60% inpatient/acute care in the hospital in the mornings and afternoons in the OP clinic.



Physical Therapist

Provides direct patient care to patients across various venues including outpatient, inpatient rehab and acute care. Works under the direct supervision of the Rehab Services Director and Lead Physical Therapy Therapist.

Reports to: Physical Therapy Lead and Rehab Services Director

Responsibilities of the Position

Areas of Responsibility: Outpatient Physical Therapy

Completes evaluations, treatments, and discharges for patients in an outpatient rehab setting.

Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team of providers to provide optimal patient care across a variety of diagnoses.

Provides quality and timely documentation reflecting medical necessity and patient progression towards goals.

Covers acute/inpatient rehab as needed.

Submission of insurance prior authorizations as required.

Independently manages busy caseload, asking for assistance and direction when needed.

Works with Lead Physical Therapist for development of weekend, holiday, and vacation schedule. Coverage to be provided as determined by Lead Physical Therapist.

Works alongside other rehab staff (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathologists, Athletic Trainers, Rehab Techs, and front office staff) to ensure patient treatments are completed and other departmental, hospital and patient needs are met.

Participates in departmental and hospital wide Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.

Participates in monthly discipline and departmental meetings.

Ensures compliance with licensing requirements, continuing education, and documentation requirements (including CMS, Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.)

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Certifications/Licenses

North Carolina Physical Therapist License is required.

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification with the American Heart Association is required.

Required Skills

Thorough knowledge of physical therapy services in outpatient setting for various diagnoses, experience with acute and/or inpatient rehab settings appreciated.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) required to interact with organizational leadership, physicians, staff, and communities served.
